MAU is hiring a Maintenance Mechanical Specialist for our client HTGP in West Point, GA.
As a Maintenance Mechanical Specialist, you will support and enhance preventative and predictive maintenance systems to ensure equipment, building systems, and production processes operate efficiently and reliably. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information
Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Regular overtime and rotating shift between days and nights required Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED 0-3 years of job-related experience Knowledge of preventative maintenance guidelines and OSHA machine regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SAP, AutoCAD, and ADP
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or comparable background in a related discipline Tier-1 automotive manufacturing experience Cross-cultural experience Bilingual in Korean and English

Essential Functions General Responsibilities

Follow all safety policies and 5S practices to maintain a clean and safe environment Meet or exceed company safety goals Technical Maintenance Responsibilities
Serve as technical expert in maintenance operations Maintain and update equipment and facility drawings Lead and coordinate project activities assigned by management Analyze equipment data and implement countermeasures Provide support for internal, customer, and market quality concerns Collaborate with equipment vendors on fabrication, assembly, tooling, and material reviews Develop and implement countermeasures based on downtime data Train maintenance team members based on skill gaps Work with contractors and suppliers on equipment improvements and installations Support and implement capital projects per annual schedule Contribute to departmental KPI goals Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for equipment issues Prepare reports and presentations on improvements, quality issues, and corrective actions Lead and apply proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Support weekend and shutdown preventative maintenance schedules Ensure timely completion of PM work orders Evaluate and improve maintenance objectives Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns Leadership
Document activities promptly and accurately Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures Build strong working relationships across teams and departments Oversee multiple team members and work zones Track team performance using metrics (downtime rate, MTBF, MTTR) Motivate and mentor direct reports, supporting personal and professional development Direct outside contractors during maintenance, installations, or modifications Maintain workflow by communicating production status and needs across departments

Climate-controlled manufacturing environment May require domestic or international travel Must be open to working other shifts as needed
