Job Details We are a nationwide law firm serving oil and gas companies. We are currently seeking an Oil & Gas Title Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have 3-6 years of experience drafting title opinions in Texas.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of oil and gas matters, including exploration, production, transportation, and sales.

Draft title opinions highlighting defects, liens, or other issues that could impact ownership or use of the property.

Analyze legal documents such as leases, contracts, and deeds.

Advise on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation and arbitration.

Collaborate with other departments to identify legal risks and develop risk management strategies.

Stay up-to-date with developments in oil and gas law and industry trends.

Provide training to other departments on relevant legal issues.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Bar Admission in Texas.

3+ years of experience drafting oil & gas title opinions for lands in Texas.

Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
