Position Overview
Were looking for an experienced assembly and braze operations professional to join the Sensor Braze department at our Loves Park Campus as a 1st Shift (M?F 7am?3:30pm) Operations Technician. This role focuses on special processes and assembly procedures to repair and overhaul aerospace components. Key Responsibilities
Operations: Follow documented procedures to accurately and efficiently produce products using specified tools and equipment. Flex and support the full product line in various processes and capacities. Process: Observe and record key process variables to ensure consistency and quality in operations. Accurately log daily operations and resolve or escalated concerns. Follow standard operating procedures. Quality: Conduct inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products, recording and maintaining data per operating standards. Organization & Cleanliness: Adhere to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follow established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Safety Mindset: Adhere to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintain mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.

Technical capability: Understands and follows basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures. Critical thinking: Identifies gaps to standard and resolves or escalates them per standard processes. Mechanical aptitude: Demonstrates basic understanding of mechanical systems and components, using hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively. Mechanical aptitude preferred. Previous CNC experience highly desired. Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints strongly preferred. Soldering and heat?treat experience preferred. 1 year of applicable brazing experience highly desired.
