We are a venture-backed startup focused on collaboration, empathy, and world-class solutions for families, including work with Fortune 500 companies and major life insurance carriers. This onsite role is based in New York City, three days a week, reporting to the Head of People, US. In this role you will help shape every stage of the employee journey, from welcoming new team members to engagement processes and advising managers on inclusion practices.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee status changes, and leave processes using HRIS systems. Troubleshoot general systems, computer, and access issues for local and remote team members. Optimize HR systems, tools, and practices to maximize organizational efficiency and maintain internal SLAs. Partner with managers and employees to answer HR-related questions with sound judgement. Support the People team on engagement initiatives and project streamlining as needed. Qualifications
Experience using PEO and HRIS systems 4 years of professional experience, at least 2 in a startup environment Proven experience managing HR systems, data, and improving operational processes Can-do, solutions-oriented attitude; hands-on and proactive Hyper-organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust across the organization Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities; thrives in a startup culture Additional Information
Salary ranges between $90,000 and $108,000, determined by factors including skills, qualifications, and location. We offer stock options and a competitive benefits package.
