Job Position: Building Maintenance
Location: Hilton Head Island, SC 29928
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Shift: Rotating Shift 8am - 5pm (Mon - Fri) Every other Weekend
Description:
We're seeking a dependable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician for a well-established beachfront resort on Hilton Head Island. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and experienced in general facility maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on resort facilities including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Help maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the resort buildings and grounds.
Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and company standards.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and report recurring issues to management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in general building or facility maintenance (hospitality or resort experience preferred).
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.
Bilingual is a plus.
