Job specification
Coordinate the daily operations of the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring efficient, safe, and compassionate patient care. Assist in staff supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Support unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practices. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes. Provide clinical support, resource guidance, and leadership during shifts. Monitor compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care. Participate in staff education and training initiatives. Candidate requirements
Current and unrestricted
Registered Nurse (RN)
license in Tennessee. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience
in a PCU or acute care setting. Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
