Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical installation team for motorgrader products. Develops schematics, mounts components, designs mounting, lighting, and performance. 80% new product development, 20% current product improvement. The team works closely with engineering groups within Earthmoving, managing requirements and setting goals based on time, cost and quality. The role collaborates with purchasing, suppliers, manufacturing, etc. Mostly in office, but some visits to Peoria Proving Grounds, factory, and supplier sites. This role involves both mechanical and electrical design.

Will consider a Mechanical Engineer for this role

Qualifications

Experience designing electrical installations or electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer‑generated reports

Someone with hydraulics instead of electrical could possibly work

CREO or other CAD

3D modeling

Mechanical/Electrical aptitude

BS preferred
