Per Diem Respiratory Therapist Opportunity
Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an experienced Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to help support our office in Casper, WY and the surrounding area. We specialize in serving the long-term care community and oxygen dependent veterans. The ideal candidate would be someone looking to pick up extra hours occasionally on a needed basis. You will apply your unique skill set and experience to home care and skilled nursing facility environments by setting patients up, providing comprehensive instruction, follow up and ongoing support of high technology modalities. In-house training on Northwest Respiratory Services equipment will occur upon hire. Compensation: Hourly rate Mileage reimbursement Eligible to participate in 401K program $100 monthly retainer to stay as on call Job Duties: Deliver, set up and provide instruction of home medical equipment to include: oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, BiPAP, CPAP, overnight and continuous oximetry, humidity systems, suction and pediatric set ups Provide routine equipment maintenance, instruction of proper use, safety, cleaning and continuing education to clients Schedule and conduct staff in-services of respiratory equipment to skilled nursing facilities as requested Serve as a resource to referrals, physicians, clients and NRS staff; Assist with troubleshooting of equipment Qualifications Requirements: Current RT/RN/LPN License in the state of Wyoming Valid driver's license Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check, and drug test Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently Home care experience is preferred Northwest Respiratory Services is a privately held, regional leader in the respiratory product and service industry.
