Travel Radiation Therapist - $2,486 per week in Orangeburg, SC

Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: State licensed Certifications: SCQRSA and ARRT (R) Must-Have: - Equipment experience with Truebeam and Trilogy - Clienttion badge provided by the agency Description: Position is for a Clienttion Therapist. The shift is five days a week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The daily caseload per therapist is approximately 30 on-beam treatments. No on-call requirement and no weekend requirement. Travelers will not float between service lines or sister facilities. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience are required. First-time travelers are not accepted. Experience with Truebeam and Trilogy equipment is essential. Travelers must provide their own radiation badge. This is an outpatient facility. The team consists of three therapists. The role involves assisting the team during the integration of a new Truebeam. The therapist will help transition new patients while continuing treatments on the current LINAC. The facility treats a daily average of 30 patients on a Trilogy system. The team also operates one CT simulator. Candidates must be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. This season runs from June to November with peak activity in August and September. All requirements must be fulfilled prior to starting the position.
