Duties
Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Design and implement lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping
Develop time studies, work measurement systems, and labor standards to improve productivity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughput
Evaluate and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics
Support new product introductions by designing efficient manufacturing processes and tooling requirements
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to guide decision-making
Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for production inefficiencies
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all engineering activities
Train and mentor production staff on process improvements and best practices
Manage engineering support for serial production lines, ensuring consistent quality and output
Oversee process control and optimization for finished goods assembly, packaging, and delivery readiness
Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab)
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in metal fabrication and/or assembly lines
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
