Vaco is partnering with a client in Brea to find a skilled
Accounts Receivable Clerk
for a temporary assignment. This is a great opportunity to bring your AR expertise to a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Verify, classify, and record accounts receivable data
Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
Reconcile the AR ledger to ensure accurate posting of payments
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and issues
Send invoice reminders and contact clients regarding payments
Generate reports and financial statements detailing AR status
Maintain customer records and support documentation
Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications:
2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
Solid understanding of AR processes and general accounting principles
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
Strong communication and customer service skills
Intermediate to advanced 10-key and data entry abilities
