Responsibilities

Manage patients’ health issues related to the endocrine system.

Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Conduct physical examinations and interpret lab tests.

Prescribe medication and hormone therapy as required.

Provide education to patients and their families on disease management and prevention.

Collaborate with endocrinologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Perform routine follow‑up assessments to monitor patient progress and efficacy of treatment plans.

Maintain accurate patient medical records.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in endocrine care and treatment methodologies.

Participate in continuous education and training programs.

Requirements

Masters in Nursing: Certified Nurse Practitioner.

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner school with board certification or eligibility.

Current MD State License.

Minimum 5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.

BLS/ACLS certification.

CPR certified.

Endocrinology/Diabetes management experience preferred.

EPIC experience preferred.

Computer literate with ability to learn within 6 months; fluency in written and oral English.

Ability to work independently and make independent decisions when warranted.

Team‑orientated with personal integrity and effective communication skills.

May be required to travel.
