Major Account Manager SLED – Fortinet
Join Fortinet, a leader in cybersecurity, to drive sales with a focus on SLED (State, Local, Education, and Dental) named accounts. Responsibilities
Drive direct sales engagements into a set of SLED Named Accounts within your assigned territory. Create and implement territory plans to achieve deployments of Fortinet solutions to existing accounts and new logo prospects. Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers and leverage these relationships to meet quarterly sales goals. Coordinate with internal teams to deliver winning contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve mutually beneficial results and long‑term partnerships. Build and promote Fortinet’s position as a worldwide leader in Unified Threat Management. Qualifications
Experienced sales professional with deep knowledge of the technology business sector. Experience designing business plans and market strategies to increase sales. Proven experience selling solutions and meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Excellent presentation and written communication skills. Ability to move deals through the entire selling cycle. Motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented mindset. Experience in network security and familiarity with VPN, firewall, anti‑virus, anti‑spam, intrusion prevention, and content filtering. Willingness to travel as needed to make a sale. Dynamic, fast‑paced environment adaptability. Benefits
