As an Additive Manufacturing Technician at Freeform, you will play a critical role in the post processing of 3D printed parts for the worlds most additive manufacturing systems. You will own everything required to go from finished print to shipping parts out to customers including powder handling, EDM operation, support removal, surface finishing, inspection, and more. We are looking for someone with extreme attention to detail and a keen eye for process improvements to help Freeform scale to mass production. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment, will take pride in their work, and will have a no-job-too-big-or-small mentality. Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and monitor machinery such as wire EDMs, surface grinders, sand blasters, deburring tools, bandsaws and handle metal powders Post process printed parts including depowering, precision cleaning, removing supports, and surface finishing Participate in process improvement efforts to streamline post processing operations to enable mass production Turn over builds, ensuring powders, tools, and equipment are available at all times Assist with visual inspection and shipment of final parts Basic Qualifications

1+ years of experience in metal additive manufacturing process support or precision deburring of machined parts Nice to Have

Experience in operating complex equipment Skilled with manual machining, welding, cutting, fitting and/or bending of stainless steels, aluminums, and high-strength nickel alloys Ability to utilize power tools, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs unassisted Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time Must be available and willing to work overtime when needed Safety conscious Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Location
