URGENT ROLE 100% OFFER
Overview Seeking an experienced Terraform/Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and automation for Google Cloud Platform using Terraform (HCL). The engineer will collaborate with platform and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure integrated with CI/CD and GitOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform (HCL) for Google Cloud Platform environments.
Architect and deploy Google Cloud Platform resources following best practices for networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring.
Integrate Terraform workflows into CI/CD and GitOps pipelines for automated provisioning and lifecycle management.
Implement state management solutions, secure secrets handling, and enforce cloud security controls.
Write automation and operational scripts using Python and Bash for deployment, maintenance, and operational tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements, perform reviews, and produce technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
7-9 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with deep expertise in Terraform (HCL) and Google Cloud Platform architecture.
Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), logging, and monitoring services.
Proven experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD systems and GitOps approaches.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation and operational tasks.
Solid understanding of Terraform state management, secrets management, and cloud security practices.
Local to Nashville area and able to attend in-person interviews and work on site as required.
