The Estimator will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for ground‑up commercial projects in New York, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines. This role requires expertise in blueprint interpretation, project analysis, and proficiency with relevant software tools.

Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for NY commercial projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Review and interpret blueprints and project documents to assess material and labor requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align estimates with project goals and timelines.
Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and On-Screen Takeoff for estimating tasks.
Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends and pricing.
Participate in pre‑bid and project planning meetings to provide valuable input on cost‑related matters.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices in all estimating activities.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the estimating function.
