As Supervising Finance Account Manager you will oversee, organize, direct, and coordinate a team of financial and analytical staff who review and process health financing program applications for not-for-profit and government owned health facilities. You will train, assign, and review work, and evaluate staff performance to ensure high-quality underwriting, construction monitoring, and risk management. Desirable Qualifications

Knowledge of tax-exempt bond issuance process.

Knowledge of healthcare industry, policies, and trends.

Knowledge of accounting or financial statement analysis.

Knowledge of the commercial finance/lending process.

Experience in finance, banking, accounting, financial analysis, commercial real estate based lending, construction lending, and risk management.

Experience in loan default resolution.

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.

Ability to travel occasionally for business meetings and trainings.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to present to small groups.

Excellent written, oral, and communications skills.

Demonstrates team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Provide staff training, work assignments, and conduct performance evaluations, to foster a collaborative and high performing team.

Review and approve staff analysis of loan insurance applications for acquisition, renovation, and construction of health facilities.

Oversee financial feasibility assessments, underwriting, construction monitoring, compliance reviews, and default resolution.

Coordinate with stakeholders, present findings to small groups, and ensure documentation meets legal and program standards.

Special Requirements

Health Facility Construction Financing Officer Exam: Candidates that are new to state service must take the online examination to establish eligibility. The examination can be found at the following link CalCareers.
