As a
Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer , you'll lead the design, development, and optimization of
metal AM processes
that meet the highest standards for aerospace and defense applications. This role is highly collaborative and hands-on-ideal for engineers passionate about
DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing) ,
metal 3D printing , and
industrial innovation .
You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver
AS9100-compliant flight hardware
while engaging directly with customers to engineer advanced solutions that accelerate their missions. What You'll Do
Define, develop, and implement
end-to-end additive manufacturing processes
for flight hardware.
Collaborate across engineering, quality, and production to ensure precision and on-time delivery.
Partner with customers to design and optimize AM components and build long-term relationships.
Apply
DfAM principles
to improve part performance, cost, and manufacturability.
Support
R&D programs
and cross-departmental innovation initiatives.
Enhance reliability and performance of industrial AM equipment.
Define, document, and maintain
AS9100 quality procedures
and best practices.
Stay current with
emerging AM technologies, materials, and industry standards .
Job Requirements
Minimum Security Clearance:
US Citizen
Details:
What You Bring
B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
(M.S. preferred).
2+ years of hands-on experience
in metal additive manufacturing (DMLS or equivalent).
Proficiency in
CAD, FEA, and GD&T .
Strong grasp of
thermal-mechanical systems ,
materials science , and
metallurgy .
Familiarity with
Aerospace Quality Standards (AS9100)
and documentation practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a

Salary Range: $91K - $130K DOE
