Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and forward‑thinking payroll supervisor to lead payroll operations across the United States. The role manages a team of payroll professionals, ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, and drives continuous improvement through technology, compliance, and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a team of payroll specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing for U.S. employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to optimize payroll systems and workflows, including automation and integration initiatives.

Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.

Lead audits and reconciliations, and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

Monitor and analyze payroll metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Stay current with legislative changes and emerging technologies impacting payroll operations.

Support change management efforts related to payroll system upgrades, policy changes, and organizational restructuring.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.

5+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG, SAP) and HRIS integrations.

Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; familiarity with automation and AI‑driven payroll solutions is a plus.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred.

Digital Fluency: Comfortable navigating cloud‑based payroll platforms and leveraging data analytics for decision‑making.

Agility & Adaptability: Able to lead through change and ambiguity, especially in evolving regulatory and technological environments.

Employee Experience Focus: Understands the impact of payroll accuracy and timeliness on employee engagement and trust.

Compliance & Risk Management: Proactively identifies and mitigates risks through strong controls and audit practices.

Benefits The anticipated salary range is $90,000 - $100,000. Benefits include:
