Description Conduct assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing both standard evaluations and observational methods. Create individualized treatment strategies that cater to immediate objectives as well as enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver dedicated speech therapy sessions with a focus on communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to establish cohesive care plans. Provide education to patients and their families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the therapeutic process. Maintain precise and timely documentation according to state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in ongoing professional development through continued education and collaboration with peers. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment. Skills

Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic methods for patients of all ages, possessing a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and diverse care teams. Talented in adapting therapeutic techniques for various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
