Work in all areas of electrical and sound maintenance during all phases of the year. Assists in managing the policies, objectives and initiatives for the department, park and company. Works to manage the stock of available parts for all rides, attractions and shop consumable products. Completes daily safety inspections as needed during operating season giving support and assists to other Electrical Maintenance Team members, Ride Maintenance Team, Rides Maintenance Manager, Department Director, and other Departments as needed through the year.

Kennywood - Electrical Maintenance

Roles & Responsibilities:

Understands principles of electricity/electrical control and understands general electrical schematics Fully capable of trouble shooting and testing all electrical applications Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed Responsible for properly installing, troubleshooting, testing, repair, and maintenance of all electrical equipment and systems. Diagnose electrical problems /failures and troubleshooting in a timely manner. Install, maintain, and work on all types of electrical equipment and voltages from 24V-480V systems. Able to run and bend conduit, pull wires. Able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics with the ability to create material take off and layout projects accordingly. Able to work with and troubleshoot PLC's, VFD's, hydraulics and pneumatic systems. Control and PLC experience preferred. Understand and apply the NEC Computer Proficiency - basic computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have a positive team attitude and able to work closely in a team environment or alone with little to no supervision. Ability to multi task and handle jobs or projects to meet changing demands for multiple concurrent projects. Climbing and working at heights with proper fall protection at times. Requirements

Education: Minimum -

High School diploma required, 2 + years of relative college, trade school schooling, or technical degree preferred. 3 + years of relative work experience associated to position. Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time Ability to kneel, stoop, or twist for long periods of time Frequent bending, squatting and reaching above shoulders Ability to walk long distances throughout the park Ability to work in all weather conditions and elements including the direct sun with no shade, cold, rain, snow, ice, dust, and all other outdoor weather elements Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 100 pounds or more Ability to work in all non-conventional areas of the property, including in confined spaces or above ground-level, on scaffolds, ladders, and manlifts Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools Ability to see differences between colors and brightness Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, dirt, grease, and other chemicals Working Conditions:

Frequent interaction with all indoor and outdoor areas of the park Exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions Potential to be asked to work in other areas of the park, as needed Subject to constant repetitive motion Frequent interaction with motorized equipment, vehicles, and machinery Exposure to high noise levels and vibrations resulting from the rides and power equipment. Subject to working at significant heights, reaching over 100 feet above ground level. Subject to the handling of and exposure to grease, oils, chemicals, detergents, and cleaners. Subject to exposure to bloodborne pathogens; Proper PPE is required in these situations Subject to frequent interruptions and may need to reprioritize activities
