Job Summary

Our company is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking an experienced

Accounting Manager

to join our accounting team.

The Accounting Manager will oversee the

accumulation and consolidation of financial data

to ensure accurate reporting of consolidated business results and the integrity of the general ledger. This role will manage

General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions

for multiple subsidiaries and legal entities.

Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is required.

Key Performance Indicators

Comprehensive knowledge of KSOX/SOX compliance

Expertise in financial consolidation and close processes

Experience with international consolidation principles and multi-entity financial statements

Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee and perform reconciliation and consolidation for all subsidiaries, legal entities, and currencies to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP, including IFRS conversion adjustments

Oversee preparation and review of consolidated and separate company income tax provisions for domestic and foreign entities, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements

Lead preparation of tax-related disclosures under U.S. GAAP and support compilation of tax return filings

Supervise SOX/KSOX compliance activities, including internal controls documentation, testing, segregation of duties, and subsidiary report consolidation

Prepare technical accounting memoranda for complex accounting matters and maintain compliance documentation

Manage all general ledger activities, ensuring proper classification, posting, and reconciliation of transactions

Develop, implement, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audits and compliance with accounting standards

Review and analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to management

Monitor accounts, prepare activity reports, and produce accurate financial forecasts

Lead or participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience:

8-13 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and consolidation

Mix of public accounting and corporate accounting experience preferred

Technical Skills & Competencies:

Proven experience as an Accounting Manager

Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is a plus

Experience preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Proficient in general ledger functions and full month-end/year-end close processes

Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Ability to address complex managerial and operational issues

Proactive, results-oriented, with critical thinking skills and a "can-do" attitude

CPA or equivalent professional certification highly preferred

Experience working with auditors and handling tax compliance

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in an office environment

Normal sitting, standing, and computer use required

Ability to perform standard office tasks and interact professionally
