Essential Job Duties This position will be part of an administrative unit that supports the university's online and distance education efforts.The administrative team works collaboratively to integrate online and distance education into academic processes across the university, ensuring alignment with on-campus courses and programs. The team provides high-level support and services to administrative units, colleges, academic departments, and distance education programs, including coordinating student and faculty support services, providing training and consultation, and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements and Preferences Work Schedule Monday- Friday (8 AM- 5 PM) 25 hours per week

Other Work/Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

Student and Faculty Support: Providing academic and administrative support for students, faculty, and staff, including interpreting program policies and procedures and offering customer service to stakeholders. Non-Degree Studies (NDS) Application Processing: Processing NDS applications, resolving registration issues, and ensuring compliance with university policies. Inquiries and Communications: Managing communications via ServiceNow, email, and phone, assisting students, and following up with campus entities for support. Website and System Maintenance: Maintaining and updating department websites and tools, including the website, Moodle, and ServiceNow, ensuring content is current and accurate. Proficiency in WordPress and familiarity with tools such as Moodle is essential. Program Enrollment Support: Assisting with program enrollments and troubleshooting issues for students, faculty, and staff. Training Materials & SOP Development: Assisting with the creation and delivery of training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for functions. Testing Services Support: Providing proctoring support at the testing center during peak testing periods. The employee will work onsite on Wednesdays and may work remotely on other days of the week. Additional onsite presence may be required during training, final exam proctoring, departmental meetings or retreats, and at the supervisor's discretion based on business needs.

Minimum Experience/Education

A Bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Department Required Skills

Demonstrated proficiency in WordPress or editing/maintaining websites. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage sensitive information. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential issues, records, and data. Customer-service oriented, ability to respond in a timely manner to questions and resolve problems promptly. Ability to multi-task and see projects through to the end. Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable and flexible. Excellent organizational, planning, prioritizing, and time-management skills. Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

Experience in a university or academic setting. Prior experience with Google Suite, WordPress, Moodle, or Student Information Systems/PeopleSoft is a plus.
