Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)

is seeking an Experienced Operations & Compliance Analyst to support ongoing production support and improvement activities with aircraft programs in Everett or Tukwila, Washington.

This position will focus on Safety, Compliance and Quality in production and test of BDS platforms in Puget Sound area.

The selected candidate will provide advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects that affect organization efficiency; applies process management and process improvement techniques to resolve production concerns; uses problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills to develop innovative solutions to manufacturing problems; gathers data, conducts analyses, and develops recommendations for implementation of new systems and processes; facilitates work teams, provides necessary training, and leads problem resolution and process improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

Lead complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers

Serve as a FOD focal supporting the FOD prevention program, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and developing supporting processes

Conduct assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria

Analyze and interpret data

Provide feedback on assessment results and identify opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk

Lead development and implementation of process improvement solutions

Work with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives

Work at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

Work under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership

3+ years of regulatory development/compliance and/or safety experience

3+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)

Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Experience overseeing regulatory compliance and interacting with customers and regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, DOD)

Summary pay range: $85,000 – $115,000 USD
