End-to-end payroll processing of multi-state payrolls on a weekly basis. This role requires in-depth payroll processing experience, a strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and committed to confidentiality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations Maintain and update employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefit deductions Ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Review, validate and import time & attendance system information Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, and time reporting Support internal and external audits by providing payroll reports and documentation Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to resolve payroll discrepancies Update employee payroll records by reviewing and entering changes Respond to employee/management inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters Process employee transfers between multiple payroll companies Understand computed wages and taxes to ensure the accuracy of earnings Complete special projects and or other assigned tasks on an as needed basis Ability to prioritize workload efficiently and meet deadlines Monitor employee leave situations to accurately pay employees Process manual payments Maintain strict confidentiality Qualifications:

4+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a staffing agency environment Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations Experience processing payroll for multiple states and locations Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday, or similar platforms) Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently ADP Vantage experience preferred Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus What We Offer:
