Description:
Epic Radiant Certification Required
For this position, I am looking for someone with a technical skillset and experience with Epic integrations and interfaces. Our instance of Epic works with multiple third-party software applications and seamless integrations are critical. I need someone who has experience in helping to develop, troubleshoot and support complex integrations with PACS, dictation, and other processing systems. The HM Radiology IT portfolio has several 3 rd party projects lined up and inflight that require Epic analyst participation specific to integration and other 3 rd party considerations. Other skills I'm looking for is Decision Trees (specific to Radiant appointment scheduling), Epic reporting features (such as Slicer Dicer) and HL7 messaging. Epic Security experience is a bonus. The candidate should be Radiant certified with enough relevant experience to hit the ground running after becoming acclimated. They should understand complex Radiology/Radiant workflows and have experience supporting all Radiology areas, modalities, and user types. In my experience, someone with a clinical or PACS background who has transitioned to IT inherently understands the workflows, but this is not a requirement. We are a very large system that is in a constant state of growth and expansion. I am looking for someone who is motivated, collaborative, willing to learn AND teach, and who can come in with very little training to make an immediate impact with project work. For those candidates that are highly skilled with a specialized skillset and extensive experience, there may be opportunity to explore elevation of the role to a senior analyst position, but this would be highly dependent on the individual candidate and is not guaranteed for approval to promote. This would be considered on a case-by-case basis.
