Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (Registered Nurse license required)
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Certifications: NRP, STABLE, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, ACLS
Clinical experience in labor, postpartum, well baby care, and stabilization of critical newborns for transfer
Preferred: Experience with Centricity EHR (electronic health records)
Strong communication skills, team player, and flexible schedule
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
Provide exceptional patient care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and neonates
Monitor and assess patients using fetal monitoring equipment, IV pumps, epidural pumps, and syringe pumps
Stabilize and prepare critical newborns for transfer as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document care and interventions in Med Host and Centricity EHR systems
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and dress code standards
