We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join DailyPay's Accounting team. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and will require you to work across the broader organization, up to and including senior management. How You Will Make an Impact: Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and fluctuation analyses as a part of our month-end close process Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and Sarbanes-Oxley Work with our internal and external audit teams to support the audit by reviewing and providing support in a timely manner Identify, propose and drive process and efficiency improvements to month-end close process and other accounting processes Work closely with Accounting Manager and Director to identify tactical and strategic department opportunities Establish strong relationships both within Finance and cross-functionally Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members What You Bring to The Team: 3+ years of Accounting experience Experience with automation and AI-powered process transformation Experience with SQL and Power Query/Google Query a strong plus Ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deadlines Bachelor's Degree in business/accounting/finance; advanced degree a plus Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CPA) What We Offer: Exceptional health, vision, and dental care Opportunity for equity ownership Life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability Employee Assistance Program Employee Resource Groups Fun company outings and events Unlimited PTO 401K with company match
