Overview
The Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology at Nassau BOCES is seeking a Program Specialist I to support the Center for Online Learning (COL). This position will work closely with the COL Supervisor to plan, manage, and deliver all aspects of the program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Building and maintaining the COL website, learning management systems, and student information systems Collaborating with content developers to design and expand course offerings Providing professional development in virtual learning and related instructional technologies Supporting daily operations within the COL to ensure smooth and effective program delivery Requirements
New York State Education Department Certification: School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA) Three or more years of teaching and/or administrative experience Experience with technology, technical infrastructure, multi-media, and professional development Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Salary
