We are looking for an experienced new business sales professional to join our Strategic sales team within the Corporate segment. The Global Strategic Account Executive is responsible for accelerating growth at AlphaSense’s largest growth accounts globally. The Global Account Leader sets the strategy, collaborates with cross-functional teams, builds executive relationships, and leads a team to execute a bottoms-up sales approach focused on Fortune 100 clients. This role offers ownership of your book of business as a player-coach, driving overall account strategy in partnership with SDRs and Account Managers while cultivating relationships with senior leaders. An Accomplished Sales Professional: has experience owning new business, ideally selling into Fortune 100 global enterprise clients, with a strong SaaS sales track record and the ability to understand customers and sales cycles. Strategic Mindset: can set a customer vision and build a plan to achieve it while empowering partners and driving toward optimal outcomes. Account Leader: able to marshal resources to drive the best outcomes for customer and company. Hard-working and persistent: maintains tenacity and a winning attitude. Strong Communicator: can explain complex financial data to non-financial audiences and communicate value at all levels. Hunter: actively builds pipeline with support from SDRs, Marketing, and Account Management. Intellectually Curious: asks the right questions to uncover business challenges at all levels. Coachable: open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. What You’ll Do
Own the strategy and end-to-end sales process in your territory, leading AEs focused on Fortune 100 clients across Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, etc. Become an expert on customer needs, market dynamics, capabilities, competitive landscape, and product differentiation. Research opportunities, prospect, initiate discussions, build relationships, conduct demos, manage trials, and close deals as a player-coach for end-to-end new business sales. Partner with the SDR team to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline. Forecast accurately and help the team build pipeline to meet or exceed quota. Work with Account Management to ensure customer health and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities during the contract term. Compensation & Benefits
Base Compensation Range: $140,000-$160,000 Additional Components: Competitive benefits, commission with uncapped earning potential, and equity. *Base salary ranges are standard for US-based roles and location-adjusted.
