Business Development Sales Executive
to join our high-performance team at our Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas. This is not your typical sales role - it’s designed as both a hunter-style sales executive position and a leadership succession opportunity. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is essential to driving growth, building executive relationships, and expanding our reach into large enterprise accounts. The Business Development Sales Executive will own the entire sales cycle, while also providing strategic input into VP’s long-term commercial strategy. This opportunity is ideal for a driven, results-oriented professional who thrives on challenge, takes pride in delivering measurable impact, and has the leadership potential to grow into a senior sales executive role. Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities with large enterprise accounts. Develop and execute a targeted sales plan to meet and exceed aggressive revenue goals. Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives, influencers, and stakeholders within target accounts. Build and develop the commercial sales team. Lead opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract closure. Deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases to senior decision-makers. Work closely with Marketing, Consumer Product, and Operations to ensure alignment on customer needs. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Provide accurate pipeline management, revenue forecasts, and executive-level reporting via Salesforce. Partner with senior leadership on sales strategy, mentor junior sales staff, and contribute to succession planning. Contribute to long-term commercial strategy and demonstrate readiness for future executive leadership. Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of
accuracy, timeliness and dependability . We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise. If this describes you and you meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least five (5) years of professional enterprise sales experience in a hunter role, targeting large, complex organizations/companies AND/OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities. Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing high-value deals ($1M+). Strong leadership potential with demonstrated ability to influence and mentor others. Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills. Willingness to travel up to 35%
