Compensation Base salary:

Description To oversee and lead the development and implementation of the marketing, sales and managed markets strategy for a U.S. brand launch and/or marketing of an existing brand indication. Develop financial and operational objectives, lead the brand team, provide executive leadership and mentorship to cross‑functional teams, and contribute to functional strategy. Location:

Ridgefield, CT – on‑site with hybrid flexibility (2‑3 days per week on site).

Duties & Responsibilities

Ensure department goals align with PM Management’s priorities and develop and implement brand objectives and strategies, including managed markets and launch readiness.

Oversee tactical plans (sales/promotional tools, conventions/symposia, PR/media, web strategy, market research, launch planning etc.) to achieve annual goals and deploy resources for financial and operational success.

Create a performance‑based culture with clear accountability and urgency. Lead the recruitment, coaching, development and performance management of the PM competency team.

Continuously review product, market performance, competitive intelligence, field‑force capacity and research to identify growth opportunities and challenges; develop action plans and monitor outcomes.

Forecast and monitor gross and net sales; conduct channel and payer assessments aligned with managed markets strategy to meet corporate expectations and financial targets.

Manage relationships with co‑marketing partners; represent the brand with internal and external stakeholders; ensure strategic direction is executed by agencies.

Chair/lead cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Managed Markets, DRA, Legal, Medical, PR); co‑lead Product Team with Medical.

Develop and monitor disposition plan (DP) and sample allocations and expenditures.

Execute annual business and brand plans per schedule.

Develop, coordinate and execute Phase IV and Life Cycle Management plans to optimize brand long‑term commercial value.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (required).

MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or marketing, including ≥6 years of U.S. pharmaceutical marketing or related experience.

Experience working with digital partners to develop and execute initiatives (e.g., Google, third‑party media providers, social media platforms).

Experience integrating digital analytics and driving metrics‑based optimization.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Demonstrated people‑management and leadership skills.

Demonstrated project‑management skills.

Ability to drive U.S. marketing strategies for defined brands and impact brand performance.

Ability to manage budget and resources.

Proven success in highly matrixed organization.

History of successful performance.

Demonstrates acceptable level of performance for Director, Marketing competencies and behaviors.

Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook and database applications.

Ability to travel, including overnight travel.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction.

Must be willing to undergo a drug test and post‑offer physical (if required).

Must be 18 years of age or older.
