Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking a skilled
Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist
with
neuro IR or neuroscience experience
for a contract role in a high-acuity hospital-based
Neuro Interventional Radiology
department in
Rochester, NY . This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialized team supporting complex neurosurgical procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Schedule Details:
Primary Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Alternative Option:
4x10s (must be negotiated prior to assignment)
No rotating shift schedule
Call Requirements:
2–3 weekday/weekend call shifts per month and at least 1 holiday assignment
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Prior
interventional radiology experience
strongly preferred
Experience in
neurosurgery or neuroscience imaging
required
Ability to adapt quickly in a highly specialized procedural environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for neuro interventional radiology procedures
Operate and troubleshoot all radiographic equipment, including CR/DR systems
Administer oral contrast per exam protocols
Assist physicians during image-guided neurovascular procedures
Maintain accurate records in the Hospital Information System (HIS), RIS, and PACS
Support team workflow by assisting with clerical tasks, transporting patients, and stocking supplies
Demonstrate strong communication and a patient-centered, compassionate approach
Maintain medication security and adhere to all infection prevention protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience
in Radiologic Technology (neuro or IR preferred)
Active NY Radiologic Technologist License
(must be in hand before start)
BLS certification
– American Heart Association ONLY
