Description Provide individual and group interventions to support patients coping with mental health diagnoses, psychosocial stressors, grief, or life transitions. Conduct cognitive screenings to address functional and cognitive questions. Offer immediate clinical assessment and collaborative care for patients experiencing mental health symptoms. Complete psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate diagnoses. Possess knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses, treatment procedures, medications, and medical terminology. Follow suicide prevention guidelines and risk assessment procedures. Engage in crisis interventions and develop crisis management plans. Provide psychotherapy when clinically indicated, including individual, group, or family interventions. Maintain knowledge of veteran benefits, community resources, and referral processes. Provide case management services throughout the continuum of care. Adhere to documentation and encounter completion regulations. Requirements: Must be licensed to practice independently in any state (Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW). Psychologists must have PsyPact and state license. Educational qualification: Masters degree in social work, counseling, or related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology. Minimum of 2 years independent therapy practice experience. Preferred experience: Working with veterans and military populations. Knowledge of DSM-5, mental health assessment, and treatment, with experience in evidence-based interventions. Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams. Knowledge of risk assessment and crisis procedures. Experience with Electronic Health Records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Must be a US citizen residing in the United States. Preferred Modalities for Depression: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) Interpersonal Therapy Problem-Solving Therapy Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Preferred Modalities for Trauma: Cognitive Processing Therapy Prolonged Exposure (PE) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) Training in suicide risk management (e.g., CBT for Suicide Prevention) Seniority level
