Job Description

As the Safety Manager, you will lead the safety strategy across multiple active job sites in the Chicago area. You'll ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and industry best practices, while fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement site-specific safety plans Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Lead incident investigations and corrective action planning Deliver safety training and toolbox talks Maintain safety documentation and regulatory compliance Serve as the primary safety liaison for field teams and subcontractors Collaborate with project leadership to drive continuous improvement MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

We're seeking a hands-on safety leader with a strong construction background and a passion for protecting people and projects.

Qualifications:

5+ years of safety management experience in commercial or industrial construction OSHA 30 certification required; CHST or CSP preferred Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel to job sites within the Chicago area What's on Offer

Competitive base salary:
