We are seeking experienced and dependable
6G Welders
to join our construction team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing high-precision welds on a variety of structural and pipe systems used in large-scale infrastructure and building projects. You’ll work closely with project supervisors, foremen, and other trades to ensure each weld meets code, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
6G pipe welding
(SMAW, GTAW, or both) on carbon and stainless steel for structural and mechanical systems.
Read and interpret
construction blueprints, plans, and welding symbols
accurately.
Fabricate, fit, and weld according to
ASME and AWS standards
.
Inspect completed welds for alignment, strength, and adherence to specifications.
Follow
OSHA safety regulations
and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Collaborate with site supervisors and quality inspectors to ensure timely project completion.
Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Requirements
Valid
6G welding certification
(SMAW/GTAW ).
Minimum
3–5 years of experience
welding in a construction or industrial environment.
Proven ability to pass a
6G weld test
and visual/NDT inspection.
Strong understanding of
pipe fitting, alignment, and metal preparation techniques
.
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
Excellent safety record and attention to detail.
