Job Responsibilities
Create basic designs under the direction of senior engineers or designers.
Learn drawing organization and company standards.
Perform CAD/BIM drafting for a variety of projects and sizes to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
Coordinate with other trades (architectural, engineering, internal and external) under senior staff guidance.
Support design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe and attend project coordination meetings.
Participate in the Engineering Development Program (EDT) training sessions and support activities.
Attend ongoing education seminars on technical and professional development topics.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university, graduating between Winter 2025 and Summer 2026.
Previous engineering internship experience (preferred).
Knowledge of the latest version of MEP AutoCAD; experience with REVIT is a plus.
Proficiency in design and calculation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
FE or E.I.T. preferred.
