Required Education : Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.

Required Experience : Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (or a closely related field). Although industrial experience is not required, significant industrial experience is encouraged. Strong written and oral communication skills and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education are essential.

Job Summary : The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Kentucky invites applications for the position of Lecturer in the Lecturer Title Series. The role is a 9‑month, non‑tenure‑eligible faculty position. Typical teaching loads will be three courses per semester, with an emphasis on undergraduate instruction. Additional duties include supporting instructional laboratories in the department. The position will be available beginning August 2025.

Teaching Responsibilities : Undergraduate instruction in biomedical engineering courses, laboratory support, and preparation of course materials. The applicant will teach three courses per semester.
