Job Description Job Description Description Verifies incoming documentation matches information on components. Visuals components using required scribes and magnification both before and after repair. Measures components using required measuring devices and tooling. Determines acceptance or rejection of components. Provides machine operators with information on material removal. Performs identification etchings on materials using air pencil. Ensures that the inspection tools and equipment are in proper working order and the proper calibration affixed before use Understands the current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the articles being inspected Actively supports company's 5S activities Follows all plant safety regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities: Use of micrometers, calipers and gauges Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to details Capable of using Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to read/write/speak English Ability to work independently in a high stress environment Special Requirements: Candidates must pass a near vision eye test to Jaeger 1 and a color perception test. Candidate must be able to use calipers, micrometers, and other gages to measure bore, outer diameter, and other dimensions as required Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
