Job Description About the Role Maritime Systems Division at Leidos is seeking a Program Production Analyst – Maritime Integration (PPA-MI) to support our Sterling Integration facility. This role relieves director-level capacity constraints by taking ownership of schedule performance management, business capture analytics, and project execution coordination across a portfolio of 25+ ruggedized hardware product lines for Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The successful candidate will work closely with Sterling’s Directors to relieve capacity constraints in these critical areas and demonstrate their ability to work in business capture (sales and proposals), business intelligence, cost estimating, integrated master scheduling (IMS), technical data package (TDP) deconstruction, and project execution. Our Sterling Integration facility's scope of business activities includes developing, building, testing, delivering, and managing ruggedized displays and computers, integrated rack systems, and console workstations for various Navy customers, shipbuilders, and integrators. You'll manage the analytical and operational details, enabling directors to focus on strategic decision-making. This role combines defense production operations expertise with business intelligence capabilities. The successful candidate will leverage data analytics and visualization tools to transform complex program data into executive decision-support systems.

Primary Responsibilities Schedule Performance Management

Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), identifying constraints, risks, and resource assignments

Perform schedule risk analysis and proactively identify mitigation strategies before

Generate weekly/monthly schedule performance reports and variance analysis using relevant metrics

Track schedule dependencies, critical path and variance across concurrent projects

Coordinate procurement and expediting needs to meet production schedules

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Create and maintain dashboards for real-time metrics and KPI tracking

Develop director-level reports summarizing technical, schedule, cost, and business performance

Conduct variance and trend analysis across all performance domains

Translate complex performance data into actionable insights for strategic decisions

Support continuous process improvement initiatives

Business Analysis & Capture Support

Develop business cases and return on investment (ROI) analysis for potential capture pursuits

Support proposal development including Technical and Management volumes with minimal director input

Create Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and support should-cost analysis

Identify and evaluate strategic partners for teaming arrangements

Manage the partner network and cultivate relationships with business partners

Project Execution Support (High Priority)

Support Contractor Data Requirements Listing (CDRL) activities including development, data collection, tracking and on-time delivery

Independently Identify, document, track, and update project risks with regular reporting

Support the PM to ensure project requirements and milestones are achieved

Document lessons‑learned and drive implementation of improvements

Monitor cost performance metrics (EAC, CPI) and support budget tracking

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with five (5) years' experience in business development, business operations, program analysis, or project management in a DoD production environment

Strong business intelligence (BI) skills including dashboard development, data visualization, and automated reporting (Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools highly desired)

Advanced Excel proficiency including Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling

Experience transforming raw operational data into executive-level business intelligence

Proven track record building executive dashboards and performance reports

Experience supporting business capture for ruggedized hardware in military applications

Demonstrated experience to work independently with developing and managing coordinated schedules and providing performance analysis

Ability to perform critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments

Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights

Strong professional networking skills and partner cultivation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate technical data into executive-level insights

Practical experience with hardware production processes and systems

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas), PowerPoint, and Project

Working knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Government technical data packages

Understanding of production projects and the process steps to manage FFP Production projects

Self‑starter who can work autonomously while knowing when to elevate to directors

Active Secret Clearance Required

Qualifications

Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) – strongly

Structure Query (SQL) or database query experience

Experience building automated extract, transform, load (ETL) processes or data pipelines

Portfolio of executive dashboards or BI solutions developed

Understanding of Costpoint MRP functionality and ERP systems

Familiarity with risk management frameworks and tools

Understanding of DoD acquisition processes and contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M)

Travel Requirements: 10%

Pay Range Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
