This senior role demands a proven HR leader ready to take immediate ownership of workforce planning, labor relations, compliance, and talent development for a project-driven construction workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Drive full-spectrum HR strategies including recruitment, retention, labor relations, and compliance to support ongoing and upcoming construction projects. Lead urgent talent acquisition efforts, onboarding, and workforce management aligned with fast-moving project demands. Manage employee and labor relations with a sharp focus on swift problem resolution and union negotiations. Ensure full compliance with all construction-specific safety and labor regulations. Oversee compensation, benefits, and training programs crucial to closing skill gaps and boosting employee engagement. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to shape an inclusive, productive, and safety-focused workplace culture. Provide timely HR reporting and insights to support critical business decisions. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; advanced qualifications a plus. Minimum 7 years of senior HR experience, ideally in construction or a similar industry. Demonstrated success managing labor relations, union negotiations, and compliance in complex environments. Deep understanding of construction workforce challenges and safety compliance. Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a results-driven approach. Proficiency with HRIS and data analytics.
