Senior Payroll Specialist:

Primary Skills: Payroll Processing-Advanced, Workday-Intermediate, UKG-Intermediate, Critical Thinking-Expert, Google Suite-Expert. Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 6+ Months with Possible Extension Location: Remote (#LI-Remote) Pay Range: $47 - $52 per hour. on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for our US operations, including regular and off-cycle payroll and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role involves direct interaction with internal tools like Jira for issue resolution, collaboration with payroll vendors for processing and issue resolution, and audit and data validation within our systems to ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations. The ideal candidate will leverage strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills to maintain accurate payroll documentation, address employee payroll inquiries, and consistently ensure data integrity across platforms. Key Responsibilities:

Direct oversight of the full payroll cycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Intake and resolution of payroll inquiries and requests within set SLAs using Jira. Coordination with payroll vendors for efficient payroll processing and issue resolution. Verification and validation of payroll data for accuracy, conducting audits, and resolving discrepancies. Maintaining clear process documentation and collaborating with the People Ops Team for data accuracy.

Must-Have Skills:

Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and systems (Workday and UKG preferred). Strong critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs for effective data management and reporting.
