Description Conduct evaluations for patients of all ages by employing standardized assessment tools and observational methods. Craft tailored treatment plans that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, articulation, fluency, vocal skills, and safe swallowing. Collaborate seamlessly with an interdisciplinary team-including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members-to design holistic care approaches. Provide ongoing education to patients and their families to support therapeutic progress outside of the therapy room. Occasionally assess and intervene for inpatient rehabilitation, ensuring the continuum of care for each patient. Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation in accordance with relevant standards and best practices. Engage in continuous professional development through education and peer collaboration to stay ahead in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications
Active state licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire is mandatory. Skills
