About Our Client
My client is a mid-sized Commercial General Contractor based out of the Kansas City area. They've been in business for over 30 years and throughout the years have created a strong reputation in the market. They are extremely diversified in what they build which allows them to maintain a strong backlog. They touch all market sectors and a few example projects they frequently work on include churches, banks, retirement homes, medical clinics, etc. They're looking to grow over the next 5 years and need to hire multiple Project Managers they can train and develop. They like to promote from within so there is opportunity for quick growth in this position.
Job Description
Oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations. Develop detailed project plans and schedules to ensure efficient execution. Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks promptly. Manage procurement of materials and resources to meet project demands. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders. Lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have:
Bachelors Degree in Construction related field is a plus Minimum 2 years of commercial Project Management experience Strong background in construction Experience on projects between $200K - $10M Proficient in Procore or similar technology Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
