ABBYY OCR Consultant – Contract Location: Cincinnati, Ohio. Contract, long‑term basis.
Description We are looking for an experienced ABBYY OCR Consultant to join our team on a long‑term contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing system configurations and connections to ensure high‑volume invoice processing and seamless interface integration. This opportunity is ideal for a technical expert with a strong background in ERP/CRM systems and OCR solutions.
Responsibilities
Configure and optimize ABBYY Vantage systems for efficient invoice scanning and processing.
Develop and implement connections to integrate scanned invoices with global ERP systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address technical requirements for system improvement.
Utilize scripting and API development to enhance system functionality.
Create and maintain detailed business requirement documents for project clarity.
Perform configuration management to ensure system stability and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to OCR and ERP system integration.
Assist in the development of Salesforce solutions to complement system capabilities.
Provide expert guidance on OCR technologies and their application within the organization.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
Proven expertise in ABBYY OCR systems, particularly ABBYY Vantage.
Strong experience with ERP systems, including invoice processing and global system interfaces.
Proficiency in client‑side scripting and API development.
Hands‑on experience with configuration management and system optimization.
Ability to create comprehensive business requirement documents.
Familiarity with Salesforce development and its integration with other systems.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
