Full-time, in?office only role reporting to the Lead Benefits Partner, responsible for planning and administering the day?to?day operations of the companys benefits and leave programs. Pay Range
$31.10 $36.50 per hour Work Schedule & Benefits Full?time, hourly, non?exempt. Office hours Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA, 401(k)/Profit Sharing, Adoption Assistance, Education Reimbursement, Supplemental Health Plans, and Pet Insurance.
Responsibilities
Full?cycle leave administration from initial notice to return to work, handling paperwork, eligibility, FMLA qualification, medical certification, and compliance. Maintain clear communication with employees and managers to ensure a smooth return to work. Draft or recommend revisions to company leave policies to ensure compliance with internal policy and applicable laws. Partner with the Human Resources Business Partner group on matters as needed. Assist employees with health and retirement benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, STD, LTD, EAP, FSA, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) retirement plans. Answer employee questions about benefit plans for active, COBRA, or retirees in a timely manner. Work with plan administrators, carrier representatives, and insurance brokers to resolve benefit claim or associate billing issues. Participate in Annual Open Enrollment, Health Fairs, and enrollment system end?user testing.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human resources or business administration preferred. 13+ years of experience in group benefits, leave, and 401(k) administration across multi?site, multi?state locations required. Experience administering full?cycle leave of absence (LOA) required. Experience in a fast?paced, high?volume environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to explain plan designs, enrollment process, and regulations to all levels. Ability to build good relationships with associates, brokers, and insurance carriers. Professional and confidential in all interactions. Excellent customer service, analytical, problem?solving, planning, and project management skills. Self?directed with excellent time management. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding benefit programs, FMLA, CFRA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

The In?N?Out Burger Irvine office will remain until the end of 2029, after which it will consolidate to Baldwin Park, CA; from there the group may relocate to Tennessee. About In?N?Out Burger
