Position Summary: Join a dynamic new product development team dedicated to ensuring mothers and infants return home healthy. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will be a key contributor to the MIC HW team, focusing on cable harness design, supplier collaboration/management, and verification of medical devices. This position plays a vital role in the design, development, and validation of new electromechanical systems, adhering to FDA regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate is experienced in mechanical design, has excellent communication skills, and is results-driven. This role offers the opportunity to gain deeper insight into patient/customer needs, product technology, and intellectual property considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components, especially cable harnessing, for healthcare devices. Collaborate with and manage external suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery. Perform verification and validation of electromechanical systems. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and relevant industry standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, etc.). Establish testing standards, methodologies, and best practices aligned with regulatory requirements.
