Draft the Bridges That Keep Ohio Moving. The Mannik & Smith Group (MSG) is seeking a
full-time Structural Drafter
to join our team and work on impactful bridge and transportation projects across Ohio. If you have a passion for producing
precise, construction-ready drawings
and want to contribute to projects that improve communities, this role is a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do As a
Structural Drafter , you'll be at the heart of our bridge design projects, producing
high-quality construction documents
and supporting the full design process: Develop and produce detailed drawings in
MicroStation
to meet ODOT and local agency standards Prepare
construction plans
ready for bidding and construction Assist with
data preparation and quantity calculations
for engineering plans Plot, collate, and compile plan sets for agency and construction submittals Support general office tasks such as document prep, scanning, and filing as needed Contribute to presentations and project deliverables, ensuring clarity and accuracy Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What You Bring
5+ years of experience
in civil/structural engineering drafting 2+ years of bridge design experience
required Proficiency in
MicroStation Experience with
ODOT standards
a plus Working knowledge of
MS Office Valid
state-issued driver's license
with a clean driving record Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Benefits
