Location: Morehead City, North Carolina. Role: Travel MRI Technologist with Supplemental Health Care. Start date: ASAP. Contract length: 13 weeks. Current state license required if applicable. BLS certification required.
Job Description Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a short‑term contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Morehead City, NC. As an MRI technician, you will use advanced imaging technology to provide high‑quality diagnostic scans that help physicians diagnose and treat patients.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
Registered with ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT.
Philips MRI systems experience.
Current state license (if applicable).
BLS certification required.
At least 2 years of recent MRI technologist experience in a hospital or imaging center.
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills.
Compensation
$1,920 – $2,099 per week (subject to confirmation).
Contract length: 13 weeks, with possibility to extend.
