Maintenance Mechanic
I am seeking skilled maintenance mechanics to maintain and repair mechanical/electrical/boiler systems within a manufacturing environment; execute capital projects (installation, dismantling of equipment) and other various maintenance tasks throughout the facility. Shift schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM. (one of those days will only be 4 hours) Responsibilities: Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specific procedures Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse in order to maintain machinery and work areas Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment Other duties as assigned Skills: Electrical, Troubleshooting, Maintenance technician, Pneumatics, Preventive maintenance, Repair, Maintenance repair, Hydraulics, Plc control, Plc troubleshooting, Schematic, Electrical troubleshooting, Allen-Bradley, Motors, Conveyer Top Skills: Electrical, Troubleshooting, Maintenance technician, Pneumatics, Preventive maintenance, Repair, Maintenance repair Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with motors, pneumatics, Conveyors are connected to PLCs. Will trouble shoot PLCs no programming. Ability to use hand & portable tools, gas and arc welder, forklift, pickup truck, testing equipment, tape measure, computer (shop floor and ERP). Knowledge of measuring gauges such as tape measures. Knowledge of various hand and power tools. Prior experience operating a forklift. Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized information. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills.
